We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Santa Clara, CA. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active California COTA license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with common SNF documentation systems and electronic medical records preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement restorative and ADL programs for geriatric populations preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift details: Days 0800-1630.
  • Shift pattern: 5x8.
  • VMS work days: Sunday through Saturday rotation (facility schedules may include Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs patterns).
  • Guaranteed weekly hours: 36 (per VMS position information).
  • Contract length: 14 weeks.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility units as needed.
