Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment in a rehabilitation setting. This role supports occupational therapists in delivering patient-centered care aimed at improving functional independence and quality of life.
The position involves implementing treatment plans, assisting with therapeutic activities, and supporting patient recovery under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Key Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities
Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist
Support patients in improving mobility, strength, and activities of daily living
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
Ensure adherence to safety and clinical standards
Promote patient-centered recovery and independence
Qualifications
Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification
Relevant state licensure (California State, if applicable)
