Instructs patients and families on how to use adaptive equipment like reachers, mobility aids, or modified kitchen utensils. Records detailed notes on patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns. Reports findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provides emotional encouragement to patients. Trains caregivers on how to assist with home programs. Prepares treatment areas and cleans equipment. May handle administrative duties related to scheduling and documentation.
