We are seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapy services for patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental limitations. The COTA works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve independence and daily function.
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, strength, coordination, and functional skills
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Occupational Therapist
- Educate patients on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with the therapy team and interdisciplinary healthcare staff
Requirements- Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Required: Active COTA license in state of practice or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Previous occupational therapy or healthcare experience
