Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT
- Provide skilled OT interventions including ADL/IADL training, fine motor activities, and adaptive equipment use
- Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately in the EMR
- Communicate patient status and progress updates to the supervising OT
- Assist with discharge planning and home exercise program instruction
- Maintain productivity standards and support quality care initiatives
Requirements
- Active state COTA certification/license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Minimum 1 year of COTA experience in a SNF/LTC or post-acute setting preferred
- Ability to work under OT supervision and implement treatment plans effectively
- Strong documentation skills and interdisciplinary communication
