Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support occupational therapy services within a post-acute rehabilitation setting. This role involves assisting Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patients functional abilities and independence in daily living activities.
The COTA will work closely with patients and the rehabilitation team to deliver hands-on therapy interventions and support recovery goals in a structured clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Occupational Therapists in carrying out treatment plans
Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills
Support patients with functional mobility and rehabilitation exercises
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to therapy
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR systems
Educate patients on exercises and adaptive techniques
Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
Requirements
Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in California
State-issued identification required
