We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA or equivalent.
  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence treating adult and/or acute care patients in a hospital setting, including documentation to departmental and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to perform typical direct patient care physical duties, including transfers and ambulation assistance up to 75 pounds.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and communicating treatment progress to physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families.
  • Employees working for Banner Home Care/Hospice or Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility must possess and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. (Client-specific requirement.)
  • Preferred: Additional related education and/or experience. (Preferred item.)
