Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract (14 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions as directed
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and progress
- Adhere to all facility policies, including identification and badge requirements at all times while on site
Required Qualifications- Current and valid COTA licensure or certification as required by the state of California
- Active NBCOT certification
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
- Ability to fulfill a 35-hour weekly guarantee, Monday through Friday on day shift
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a similar clinical or facility-based setting
- Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards in a regulated healthcare environment
