Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatment to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to support residents' functional independence and quality of life
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate resident care and discharge planning
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications- Active COTA licensure in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
