Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established goals and clinical guidelines
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients
- Wear a facility-issued photo badge and present valid state or federal issued identification upon entry to the facility at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA licensure in the state of New Mexico
- Must have an active New Mexico Caregivers account prior to placement
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
- Minimum 36-hour weekly guarantee commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a transitional or rehabilitative care setting
- Familiarity with New Mexico state compliance and registry requirements
- Strong documentation and communication skills
