Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily living activities
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and goals
• Adhere to all applicable professional, ethical, and compliance standards throughout the course of care

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA certification through NBCOT
• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of New Jersey
• Demonstrated ability to implement treatment plans under OT supervision
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
