Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to support functional independence
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies, including identification and badge requirements at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Active and valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in West Virginia
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
• Ability to meet a 35-hour weekly guarantee commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a similar clinical or facility-based setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
