Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily living activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate therapy records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA licensure in the state of Michigan
- NBCOT certification required
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
