Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate therapy records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in the state of New Jersey
• Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
• Minimum of 30 hours per week availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a similar therapy setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
