Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
- Adapt therapeutic activities to meet the individual needs of each patient
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Active California state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to fulfill a 16-week contract assignment with a 35-hour weekly guarantee
- Availability to work any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
