Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support the development, recovery, and improvement of daily living and work skills
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in good standing
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to meet a minimum of 36 hours per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a similar care setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
