Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' daily living and functional skills
- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals and discharge planning
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in good standing
- Active Louisiana state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
