    Job Title

    Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – Long Term Care (LTC)

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
    • Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
    • Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly, documenting all updates in the electronic clinical record.
    • Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding cognitive and/or physical disorders.
    • Accurately record treatment minutes and maintain patient records in compliance with all regulatory and clinical requirements.
    • Participate in required meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings, as well as required trainings and in-services.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license – required.
    • Active Oklahoma State Licensure/Registration – required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of OTA experience – required.
    • Long Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation setting experience – required.
    • Adherence to NBCOT, AOTA, and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience supervising or supporting OTA students in a clinical setting.
    • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems used in LTC or rehabilitation environments.
