Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active and unrestricted state licensure in Illinois
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
