Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
• Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Assist with patient and family education related to therapy goals and functional independence
• Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising occupational therapist
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or demonstrated ability to obtain licensure
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in compliance with state and federal regulations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
