Job Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement therapy interventions according to the established plan of care.
- Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home exercise programs.
- Communicate patient status and treatment progress with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to help patients improve independence and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program.
- Active New Jersey COTA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and exceptional patient care.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
