Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
• Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Assist with patient and family education related to therapy goals and functional independence
• Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Ability to provide occupational therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation systems
