Key Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care
- Accurately and timely document patient progress
- Assist with patient and family education throughout the course of treatment
- Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to provide occupational therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
