Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
- Maintain a valid photo badge and state or federal issued identification while on site at all times
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid COTA certification
- Active California state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in California
- Minimum 35-hour weekly availability to meet guaranteed hours requirement
- Ability to work any day of the week, including weekends
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
