Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in a post-acute care setting
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and discharge planning
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA license in the state of California
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including any day of the week (Sunday through Saturday)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
