We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Clara, CA. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative Skilled Nursing setting while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery.
Assignment Details:
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Days: Flexible (Sunday through Saturday coverage)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Help patients improve daily living and functional skills
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercises
- Monitor and report patient progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a COTA
- Active California COTA License
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
