Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services in a general acute care setting encompassing medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, neurosurgical, cardiac, and critical care units
- Deliver therapy services within an acute rehabilitation facility with an average patient length of stay of approximately two weeks
- Support a high volume of stroke patients within the acute rehabilitation setting
- Work a rotating schedule of every fourth weekend as required by the facility
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements including holiday coverage as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Minnesota COTA license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy assistant experience
- Acute care experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Primary residence must be located at least 25 miles from the facility
- Must be willing and able to complete Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting in person within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with stroke and neurological patient populations
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience
