Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by a supervising Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional recovery and independence in daily activities
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
- Maintain current COTA licensure and certification throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active New Jersey state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract assignment
- Expected 30 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
