Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Contract (14 Weeks) | Days | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to support patient recovery and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active COTA licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- NBCOT certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a post-acute or skilled nursing facility setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
