Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments to patients within a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 9–13 assigned patients as a COTA
Utilize general acute care DME and document within a Meditech EMR system
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Work with a large therapy team serving a wide variety of diagnosis groups, including trauma and stroke populations
Operate with a high degree of autonomy in care planning while maintaining strong communication and accountability
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
Active Kansas (KS) COTA licensure
BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Trauma experience in an acute care setting
Comprehensive stroke experience
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and strong accountability
Flexibility and adaptability to the dynamic nature of acute care practice
