Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients with activities designed to improve daily living and functional skills.
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient goals and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification required.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
