Details of Assignment:

13 week assignment with a rural hospital in Western WI. Facility is in need of a COTA. This HCP will work with a OT on all cases.

 

• Types of patients commonly seen: Inpatient/ Swingbed ADL training, deconditioned weakness and surgical patients. (This population is typically adults. Swing Bed program patient are Medicare Age) Some outpatient elbow, hand, shoulder surgery rehab and small population of peds.  We also have potential for Home Health with approximate 15-20 mile max radius to drive.

Avg Max Ratio/Caseload:

8 -9 patients a day

Rural hospital located in Western WI. This facility sees a lower volume of patients and a lower acuity as higher acuity is sent to larger regional hospitals. 1.5 hours from Madison WI, 40 minutes from Dubuque, Iowa
