    Description

    Respiratory Therapist

    Location: Cibola, NM
    Job Type: Full Time

    Position Highlights:
    • Provide respiratory care across ICU, medical floors, ER, Radiology, CT, and Pulmonary Function Lab
    • Manage mechanical ventilators and provide oxygen therapy, nebulizers, aerosols, and CPT
    • Perform pulmonary function testing, including DLCO and Flow Volume Loops
    • Assist with intubations, airway management, and emergency respiratory care
    • Participate in CPR/Code Blue response
    • Support patient transports, including ground and air transport
    • Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams

    Requirements:
    • Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy from an AMA-approved program
    • Successful completion of a national Respiratory Therapy credentialing exam
    • RRT preferred; CRT considered with commitment to obtain RRT within 12 months
    • Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
    • Current BLS/CPR certification
    • ACLS preferred
    • 2+ years of post-graduate respiratory therapy experience preferred
    • Critical care, pediatric, ER, or transport experience preferred

    Ideal candidates will have strong critical thinking skills, clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
