Contract: 13 Weeks ⏰ Schedule: 4 x 10-Hour Day Shifts (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Approximately 28 scheduled cases per day plus add-on cases

Requirements
Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Current certification through NBSTSA (required)
BLS (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
2–3 previous travel assignments required
Orthopedic assisting experience is required
Neuro/Ortho experience preferred
Call Requirements
Weekday and weekend call rotation
Approximately:
1 weekday call shift per week
1 weekend call shift per month
Holiday call as needed
20-minute response time required while on call
Additional Details
Scrubs provided
Block scheduling may be available based on unit needs
Three-shift department orientation
Travelers may float to outpatient surgery as needed
Important Submission Requirements
Active license required at submission
Driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
Only one active application allowed within the WVU system
Previous permanent employees must be separated for 2 years
Previous travelers who completed a full year must also be separated for 2 years
Any license disciplinary history must be disclosed at submission
