Job Title: Surgical Technologist (CST)
Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist supports safe and effective surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring proper functioning of instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating room and sterile field for procedures
- Assist surgeons and RN during surgeries
- Ensure all instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection control practices
- Perform instrument, sponge, and sharp counts accurately
- Support patient safety, positioning, and confidentiality
- Respond effectively in emergency/critical situations
