Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $1,738 per week in Prescott, AZ

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 5 x 8's M-F 0600-1430 + call Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: 1 year of open heart experience Description: The unit has 6 operating rooms, including 1 cardiovascular operating room and 1 hybrid room. They typically handle 20-30 cases per day, with 1-2 cardiovascular cases or up to 4 TAVR cases. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS for RNs, and BLS only for technicians. Common surgical cases include CABG, aortic valve, mitral valve, and TAVR. Experience in scrubbing is required. There is a charge nurse as well as specialty leads available as resources. A house supervisor is present from 6 PM to 7 AM only. On-call responsibilities may require being available up to 50% of the time from the end of the shift to the next morning. Call response time is 30 minutes. On weekends, there will also be on-call duties up to 50% of the time. Scrubs are provided. There are scrub technicians available in the operating room. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. The cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts per contract or 3 shifts if the contract is under 13 weeks.
