Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $1,942 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-15:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: Must have a valid license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a hospital setting - Valid license - BLS/ACLS certification Description: The position requires proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass. Experience with related procedures in the mediastinum and thoracic surgery cases is essential. Candidates should be familiar with daVinci-assisted procedures, open thoracotomy, VATS, and procedures initiating ECMO and pericardial window. Ability to take call is required, with unit hours of operation from 0630 to 1500. Call starts at 1500 when assigned. Weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when assigned. Advanced skills are needed for a variety of cardiac cases, including CABG, valve replacement, and the repair of aortic dissections. Experience with TAVR, thoracic surgery (daVinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, mediastinal lymph node biopsy), and ECMO is required. Dress code includes hospital-provided scrubs. Candidates may be required to adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines.
