Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required in specialty License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS certified Must-Have: Experience with heart and lung transplants Level 2 experience required, Level 1 experience preferred Experience with trauma cases is necessary Skills checklist submission is mandatory Description: Two years of experience is required. Candidates must have experience with heart and lung transplants. Level 2 experience is required, with Level 1 experience preferred. Experience with trauma cases is a necessity. Candidates must be BLS certified. A skills checklist must be submitted. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted for this position. Candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Certified Surgical Technologist license from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting is preferred. Candidates must comply with all mandatory health and safety requirements. Most patients will range from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared to work in various surgical environments and procedures.
