Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,066 per week in Kearney, NE

Experience working in a general operating room. Description: Due to our patient volumes, we cannot keep a surgical tech busy 100% of the time with cardiac or vascular cases. We are seeking techs who can work in other specialties, such as orthopedic, general, ENT, and urology, when not engaged in CVOR cases. The unit has 11 suites. The average number of cases per day is 18. A manager and charge nurse are present daily, and the charge nurse does not take an assignment. Shifts are scheduled from 0700 Monday through Friday, with the same schedule each week. Call is somewhat self-scheduled, with total on-call requirements of 10-15 days per month, including nights and weekends. The response time for call is 15 minutes. Scrubs are provided for staff. There will be one week of unit/department-specific orientation provided. Staff will work as part of the CVOR team and also in the general operating room for other cases when not performing cardiovascular procedures. The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC.
