Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BCLS and NBSTSAS Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma Center experience Experience in Vascular and Thoracic Surgery Cases Experience with various cardiac and vascular procedures Description: Please provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting candidates. The position consists of 3x12-hour shifts, from Friday to Sunday. First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma experience. Call requirements include 90-120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR, with specific skills in procedures such as: Receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair. Atherectomy. Atrial Septal defect repair. Cardiomyoplasty. Carotid Endarterectomy. Coronary Artery Bypass Graft. Endovascular Aneurysm Repair. Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR). Femoral popliteal bypass graft. Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery. Mitral valve replacement. Pericardial window. Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery. Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR). Ventricular Assist Device (VAD). Heart and Lung Transplant. Valve Replacement. Aortic Dissection. Effective November 30, 2024, specific restrictions will apply to in-state registered nurse travelers. Candidates should be prepared to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Two supervisor references are required. Travel experience is preferred. All candidates must comply with floating and call requirements. Candidates should work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Licensure must be current prior to the start date.
