Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Level 1 Trauma Center License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS, NBSTSAS Must-Have: - Experience with receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation - Experience in Vascular and Thoracic surgery cases - Level 1 Trauma Center experience Description: Are you able to receive lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation? Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a CVOR setting. Experience in vascular and thoracic surgery cases is required. Candidates will be expected to be available for 90-120 hours of call in a six-week schedule. Travelers must have a background in Level 1 Trauma Center protocols and procedures. Heart and lung transplant experience is a plus. Candidates will be performing a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to: - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair - Atherectomy - Atrial Septal Defect Repair - Cardiomyoplasty - Carotid Endarterectomy - Coronary Artery Bypass Graft - Endovascular Aneurysm Repair - Endovascular Aortic Repair - Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft - Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery - Mitral Valve Replacement - Pericardial Window - Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery - Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement - Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair - Ventricular Assist Device - Valve Replacement - Aortic Dissection Candidates must possess strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required. Travel experience is preferred.
