The busy surgical program offers advanced robotic surgery options. The facility provides the only open-heart and interventional cardiology services in the area. Candidates should have critical care experience; pre-op experience is a plus. Skills required include excellent documentation and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment. Good critical thinking skills are essential. Advanced skills necessary for this role include large-bore IV starts and medication administration. Other tasks include assisting with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements. Teamwork and communication skills are critical for interacting with interdepartmental teams.
