Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,251 per week in Charlotte, NC

Job Title: CVOR Surgical Tech Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 (7A-7P) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in specialty required License: BLS required for Surgical Tech Certifications: National certification preferred Must-Have: Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech education program Description: The CVOR Surgical Tech will work in the operating room. The facility has 13 operating rooms plus one procedure/cysto room. On average, the team performs 45 cases per day. Patient types and common diagnoses include orthopedic, spinal, general, and other surgical specialties. Orthopedic cases include total hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasties, as well as joint arthroscopies. Spine cases involve cervical and lumbar fusions and microdiscectomies. General cases cover appendectomies, hernia repairs, colon resections, and more. CVOR cases focus on cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG and valve replacements. Vascular cases consist of bypasses, angioplasties, and other interventions. Thoracic procedures include VATS and robotic resections. Required skills include the ability to scrub for various surgical cases. Candidates must have experience with CABG, TAVR, vascular, and thoracic cases. Support staff is available for room turnovers and patient positioning. Technological equipment in the department includes EMR systems and monitoring devices. Candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively with the surgical team.
