Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience in Cardiovascular surgery License: Valid compact license required Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA Must-Have: Cardio Thoracic and Vascular experience Description: Travel experience required. Must have recent experience in CV cases. Ability to scrub heart valve or open heart procedures independently is essential. On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays. No weekends required. Special requirements include 2 years of consecutive experience in Cardiovascular surgery. Expected patient ratios will be 1:3. Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization processes is required. Knowledge of various surgical procedures and equipment is necessary. Ability to handle sharps and specimen handling essential. Knowledge of fire safety and isolation precautions required. Traveler may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in contract termination. Must commit to working three out of five major holidays. References required covering one year of experience. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts unless for an agreed-upon interview. Travelers may require communication devices to perform duties as assigned.
