Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technology Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in cardiovascular or thoracic procedures is preferred. - Candidates must be able to float within the facility and to the Main OR as needed. - Call requirements include 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks. - Must comply with all onboarding documentation in a timely manner. Description: This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit for the role. Successful candidates will be required to work major holidays as outlined in the requirements. Travelers will be expected to work if one major holiday falls within their assignment period. If two or three major holidays occur during the assignment, travelers will be required to work at least two holidays. Compliance is necessary to ensure a timely start to the contract and orientation. No holiday time off can be requested for 1 or 2 holidays during the assignment. One holiday time off may be considered if three holidays fall within the assignment period. Candidates must possess skills in various cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to aortic aneurysm repair, mitral valve replacement, and ventricular assist devices. Experience with aseptic technique and instrument processing is essential. Knowledge of relevant patient care and surgical support systems is expected.
