Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiac and Vascular Operating Room Technician Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Experience: 5+ years total experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, including 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgery, and 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility. License: Certification in Surgical Technology required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Must-Have: - Scrub experience required. - Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing. - General OR experience with procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc. Description: Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) Scrub required. First-time travelers accepted. Locals accepted. Shift will be during PM weekends from 18:30 to 07:00, with call required. Must be flexible with shift assignments. Candidates must have experience in aseptic technique and equipment documentation. Experience with charting systems is also required. Candidates should have knowledge of various surgical procedures including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, and others relevant to cardiac and vascular surgery. Strict compliance deadline for credentialing will be enforced. Travelers are encouraged to cooperate fully with credentialing processes. Candidates must provide two professional references, one of which must be from a leadership position. All candidates must be aware of the urgency of the credentialing process and complete necessary requirements promptly.
