Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiac Surgery Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Compact or State License required Certifications: BLS certified Must-Have: - Experience with heart and lung transplants. - Level 2 experience required. - Level 1 experience preferred. - Experience with trauma cases. - Must submit a Skills checklist. Description: Two years of experience are required. Experience with heart and lung transplants is essential. Level 2 experience is mandatory, while Level 1 is preferred. Candidates must have experience with trauma cases. BLS certification is required. A skills checklist must be submitted with the application. Local travelers are typically not accepted within 100 miles of the facility; however, exceptions may be made for this role. Candidates are expected to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital. All applicants must be aware of potential rehire eligibility checks from HR. The submitted candidate must have no previous licensure hits. Experience with special procedures such as LVADs and robotic thoracic surgery is valuable. Compliance requirements include BLS certification and a Surgical Technologist/Technician competency exam.
