Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - $2,371 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: IN state license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTA required Must-Have: - Experience with cardiovascular cases, specifically heart/lung transplant - National certifications in cardiac surgical technology - Basic Life Support certification required - No first-time travelers accepted Description: The CVOR Tech will support the surgical team in a cardiovascular operating room. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the field. The position requires proficiency in the sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and supplies. Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and transplants is essential. Candidates must be available for on-call duties approximately 110 hours per month. One full weekend of on-call duty is required within a six-week schedule. Travel experience is preferred, but not required. Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment period. The applicant must have the ability to adapt to various surgical environments and support a team-oriented approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. The position involves floating to different areas as required within the surgical services. Robust clinical knowledge and expertise in cardiovascular procedures are critical for success in this role.
