Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field License: Valid Washington License Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, ASATT Must-Have: Must be able to scrub all cardiac procedures. Recent cardiac experience is a hard-stop requirement. Compact license must be in hand at submission. Description: Position floats between units: No. On-call required: Yes, once per week and one weekend every six weeks. Weekends are required for on-call only. No block schedules are required. Expected ratios are 1:1. Candidates will provide highly specialized patient care in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room. Procedures include basic Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) to robotic mitral valve repair. Specialization in pediatric congenital heart patients is essential. Client highlights include Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center, and Teaching Client. This position involves working with various cardiac procedures. Ability to perform Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, and other surgical interventions is required. Charting experience with Epic is preferred. References should cover at least one year within the last three years. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
