Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac experience required License: Valid Washington license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, ASATT Must-Have: Recent cardiac experience, ability to scrub all open-heart procedures Description: This position is open to first-time travelers who meet all skills and experience requirements. Candidates must have recent cardiac experience as a hard-stop requirement. The role does not require floating between units. On-call duty is required one time per week and one weekend every six weeks. Candidates will only be on-call during weekends. Block scheduling is not part of the requirements. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. This role demands proficiency in various surgical techniques and procedures. Candidates must be able to scrub in for all open-heart procedures. The position will be part of a highly specialized cardiovascular team. Common procedures include CABG, robotic mitral valve repair, and TAVR. A strong understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical protocols is essential. This is a short-term acute care facility with a teaching component. The working environment supports adults and geriatric patient populations. Candidates must provide two references covering their experience within the last three years. To be successful, candidates must demonstrate exceptional teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility in scheduling and being adaptable to changes is critical for this role. All compliance documentation must be provided before the start date.
